Where can you train your shots in tennis?
If you live in a cold country such as Canada , you obviously don't have a lengthy summer to play tennis. A good way to work your handling of a tennis raquet is to play against the wall.
Often you will find a flat wall somewhere outside. A great way to improve your handling is to stay close to to the wall, approximately a meter (few feet) and try to keep the ball in constant rotation with your raquet , you will feel a bit of preassure on your wrist but if follow this practice , your feel of a raquet would definitely improve.
Here is the advice, if you can't find a tennis court just for yourself and want to practice before a game, find a squash room.
Although it has wooden floor and the ball bounces slightly differently, you can still get a great work out. Also, the squash room is not very big in length so you will have to adjust your shots so that you can respond. You can definitely practice your back hand and forehand.
